Backstage before their explosive performance on The Late Late Show, Machine Gun Kelly and YUNGBLUD took a moment to dive headfirst into the weird and wonderfully chaotic world of their fans’ subconscious — and yes, it was just as unhinged as you’d imagine.
In the hilarious segment titled “Tweet Dreams,” the genre-defying duo sat side by side, surrounded by mismatched furniture, coffee cups, and their signature punk-rock energy, as they read aloud some of the strangest dreams fans have ever posted about them on Twitter.
“I had a dream that YUNGBLUD was my barista, and Machine Gun Kelly was mad because I didn’t tip enough — and then they both started singing at me in the coffee shop???”
Cue immediate laughter and mock reenactments, with MGK pretending to throw imaginary coffee and YUNGBLUD breaking into an overly dramatic, off-key operatic version of “Bloody Valentine.”
Another fan wrote: “Dreamt MGK and YUNGBLUD were my chaotic uncles who kidnapped me for a road trip to Vegas to ‘teach me about life.’ I woke up with eyeliner on. What??”
“Honestly,” MGK responded, deadpan, “I’ve done worse on a Tuesday.”
YUNGBLUD simply added, “We are your chaotic uncles now. Deal with it.”

From alien abductions to punk weddings officiated by Travis Barker, the dream tweets spiraled into total madness — and neither MGK nor YUNGBLUD held back. The segment became a strange, hilarious window into how deeply fans connect with their outcast energy and misfit magic — even in their sleep.
But beyond the chaos, there was a real sense of appreciation.

“It’s kinda wild,” YUNGBLUD said, “that people dream about us just being… us. Mad. But kind of beautiful too.”
“Shows we’re leaving a mark,” MGK nodded. “Even if it’s in their dreams — or nightmares.”
One segment. Ten minutes of laughter. Endless proof that MGK and YUNGBLUD are living rent-free in our minds — even when the lights go out.
