Keith Urban & Blake Shelton Team Up for New Reality Show ‘The Road’—A Live Music Competition Like No Other!

Keith Urban, the famous country singer, is coming back to TV this fall with a brand-new show called The Road on CBS. He’s teaming up with Blake Shelton, another big music star, and Taylor Sheridan, the guy who made Yellowstone, to create something totally different. This isn’t your usual singing contest—it’s a real adventure where new singers get to travel and perform like actual stars!

Last year, they told us about The Road but kept it a secret who would be in charge. Now, on Tuesday, February 25, CBS said it’s Keith Urban! He’s super excited to help new singers learn what it’s really like to be a musician.

What’s The Road All About?
The Road isn’t like other music shows where people just sing on a stage. Instead, the contestants will go on tour with Keith Urban. They’ll play in real places—like bars and music halls—and try to make the crowds love them. If the audience likes them, they get to keep going to the next town. It’s a tough but fun way to see if they can handle being a star.

Blake and Taylor say this show is more real and exciting than other singing contests because it’s all about life on the road.

Where and When Will It Happen?
The show will be filmed this spring in Texas, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. They’ll visit cool spots like small music places and even the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, where lots of big stars have played.
