Country music star Keith Urban flew back to Australia on Friday to receive a special award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The 57-year-old singer arrived alone, without his famous wife, actress Nicole Kidman.
Dressed in comfy travel clothes—black track pants, a navy shirt with gold sleeve designs, white sneakers, and dark sunglasses—Keith carried a large black backpack and a duffle bag as he left the airport.
On Saturday, he will be honored at the 53rd Toyota Golden Guitar Awards by being added to the Roll of Renown Hall of Fame. This award celebrates his huge success in the music industry.
Barry Harley, the festival manager, said: “Keith Urban represents everything the Tamworth Country Music Festival stands for. His story shows how hard work, love for music, and talent can lead to great things.”
Keith will also win a Golden Guitar Award for having the top-selling Australian country album of the year with his record “High.”
This special moment comes just before his 2025 High and Alive Tour in Australia this August. It’s his first tour in the country since December 2022, and he’ll be performing songs from his new album.
