Kris Kristofferson, a famous singer and songwriter, came out of retirement to perform his last shows about a year and a half before he passed away on September 29, 2024. His last shows happened in April 2023 at a big party for his friend Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday at the Hollywood Bowl. Kris joined other famous singers like Neil Young, Chris Stapleton, and The Chicks to celebrate Willie, who he used to play music with in a band called The Highwaymen. Kris sang a special song with someone different each night of the two-day event.
On the first night, he sang “Loving Her Was Easier” with Roseanne Cash. She started the song alone, but then Kris, who was 86, walked out to join her. The crowd cheered so loud when they saw him!
