On December 12, 2019, Nick Cannon said he won a rap battle against Eminem. He wrote on Twitter, “I won! This was fun. Now back to normal stuff.” Nick was talking about two songs he made to challenge Eminem, called “The Invitation” and “Pray for Him.”
But many people didn’t agree with Nick. They thought his songs weren’t very good. Some fans even made fun of him online. One person wrote, “You didn’t win anything! Eminem didn’t even need to make a song to beat you.” Another said, “You didn’t even do the best parts in your own songs. You don’t get any prize!”

Eminem only replied to Nick on Twitter a few days earlier, on December 9. He wrote, “Are you upset? Stop saying silly things about me. I never had a driver like you said.” Nick’s song claimed Eminem’s driver had a video of him doing something bad, but Eminem said that wasn’t true. In another tweet, Eminem joked, “I want an apology, Nick! You made my gardener jealous!”
Lots of fans thought Nick was wrong to say he won. They believed Eminem came out on top without even trying hard. This story shows that not everyone agrees on who wins a rap battle
