As part of Mastercard’s Priceless Surprises campaign celebrating The BRIT Awards, the BRITs Icon gave fan Danielle Howting from Gosport, Hants, a moment she and her family will never forget.
Danielle, who met her partner Mike at one of Robbie’s concerts, believed she was taking part in a documentary about the star’s biggest fans. She invited family and friends to a local cinema, expecting to watch a feature on Robbie. Instead, she was stunned to see the superstar appear on screen—inside her own house—living a day in her life.
The surprise didn’t end there. At the climax of the film, Robbie stepped out from behind the cinema screen in person, hand-in-hand with Danielle’s nine-year-old daughter, Grace. Together, they performed a heartfelt duet of “Love My Life”—a song Robbie originally wrote for his own children, featured on his album The Heavy Entertainment Show.
For Danielle, the moment was overwhelming:
“This has been one of the craziest but most amazing days of my life! I have been a fan of Robbie for years and met my long-term partner, Mike, at one of his concerts. You could say that without Robbie, I wouldn’t have met my soul-mate and had our lovely daughter.
