Kanye West is once again under fire—this time from behind bars. Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records, has spoken out against Ye for his deeply offensive comments about JAY-Z and Beyoncé’s twin children, Rumi and Sir.

In a powerful interview with The Art of Dialogue from prison, Suge didn’t hold back:

“We never, never disrespect no one’s kids. You don’t talk about JAY and Beyoncé’s children and call them ‘retarded.’ That’s what we won’t do. It’s real consequences for those type of actions.”

Calling Kanye’s remarks “vile,” Knight emphasized the importance of holding people in hip-hop to higher moral standards, especially when it comes to protecting children and individuals with disabilities.

“We came a long way as Black people… not to protect people’s kids or people that are disabled. That’s not funny to me, not one bit.”

Knight even went so far as to call Kanye a “bitch” and said he “needs an old-fashioned ass-whooping.”

He took a moment to praise Beyoncé, highlighting her dedication to both hip-hop and the Black community, saying:

“That woman works really, really hard. Her sister, her whole family is good people.”

The backlash stems from Kanye’s now-deleted posts on X (formerly Twitter), where he mocked the Carter twins, suggesting they had learning disabilities and cruelly referencing artificial insemination and Down syndrome in offensive ways. He later doubled down in even more aggressive posts, further attacking the family.

So far, JAY-Z and Beyoncé have not publicly responded, but sources told Page Six that the couple is now “discussing legal options” in response to Kanye’s ongoing harassment.
