The Voice, a fun singing show, is bringing back something exciting for Season 27! A few years ago, they stopped using celebrity advisors for the Battle Rounds and just had one big helper called a Mega Mentor for the Knockout Rounds. But now, for the first time since Season 22 in 2022, they’re bringing back advisors to help the coaches during the Battles.
The coaches this season are Adam Levine, John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, and Michael Bublé. Each coach gets a special advisor to help their team get ready for the Battles. These advisors sit with the coaches during practice and give tips to the singers to make their performances even better.
Here’s who’s helping each team:
– Cynthia Erivo is helping Team Bublé (Michael Bublé’s team).
– Kate Hudson is giving advice to Team Adam (Adam Levine’s team).
– Coco Jones is working with Team Legend (John Legend’s team).
– Little Big Town, a cool country music group with four members (Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook), is helping Team Kelsea (Kelsea Ballerini’s team).
In the Battle Rounds, each coach picks two singers from their team to sing a duet together. After they perform, the coach decides who wins and moves on to the next round, called the Knockouts, and who has to go home. This season, every coach starts with 12 singers on their team for the Battles.
The Voice Season 27 Battles start on Monday, March 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. If you miss it, you can watch it the next day on Peacock.
This is going to be a super fun part of the show, and kids and grown-ups alike will love seeing the singers team up and compete!
