Reports have surfaced that Kim Scott, the former wife of Eminem, may be facing new legal trouble following a recent car accident involving her teenage son and several of his friends.
The incident was first reported by TMZ, which claims to have obtained court records related to the case. According to the outlet, Scott has been charged with driving while intoxicated and failing to stop or identify herself after allegedly causing property damage. The events are said to have taken place on the evening of February 16. Sources cited by TMZ claim Scott had left her home with her son and three of his friends to run an errand. Shortly after departing, she reportedly collided with a parked vehicle on the same street.
Instead of stopping at the scene, the report claims she continued driving. Moments later, as she attempted to return to her driveway, a second accident allegedly occurred when her vehicle struck her own garage door.
A neighbor who witnessed the events reportedly contacted the police. When officers arrived, Scott was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries and was released the following morning.
Images from the scene show damage to Scott’s white Range Rover, including a broken headlight and a partially detached bumper. The garage door also appears significantly dented.
