The Battle Rounds have officially wrapped on Season 30 of The Voice, leaving coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green with their teams selected for the next stage of the competition. With the Battles complete, the remaining artists now face a new challenge that could dramatically change the race toward the Live Shows.
The October 26 episode marked the end of this season’s Battles, during which each coach chose six contestants to advance and secured one additional artist through a Steal. That leaves each coach with seven singers heading into Cut Week, a new stage replacing the traditional Knockouts format.
The next round is set to deliver one of the most significant elimination episodes in the show’s history.
Cut Week Brings a Major Shake-Up
Scheduled for Monday, November 2, Cut Week will feature a two-hour episode in which the coaches must make difficult decisions about which artists deserve to continue.
Each coach will send two contestants directly to the Live Shows. The remaining five artists on each team will then compete for one final spot, creating a high-pressure battle for those hoping to stay in the competition.
Once the coaches have selected their finalists, 12 artists will have secured places in the Live Shows. America will then vote to bring back one additional contestant, completing the Top 13.
The format raises the stakes for every singer. Unlike the Battles, where contestants perform in pairs and coaches choose who advances, Cut Week will force each team to compete internally for a limited number of opportunities.

Four Coaches Face Difficult Decisions
Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah and Riley Green have each assembled seven-member teams, but the upcoming round will require them to narrow those groups significantly.
For the coaches, the challenge is not simply identifying the strongest individual performances. They must also decide which artists have the potential to connect with viewers once the competition moves into its audience-voting stage.
The new format leaves little room for mistakes, as even contestants who impressed during the Battles could find themselves eliminated before the Live Shows begin.
For the artists, advancing will depend on making a strong impression at a crucial point in the season, when every performance could determine whether their journey continues.
When Do The Voice Live Shows Begin?
Following Cut Week, The Voice will transition into the Live Shows, when voting shifts to the American audience. The series will also move to a new time slot, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The change marks an important turning point in Season 30. Until now, the coaches have controlled which contestants advance through the early rounds. Once the Live Shows begin, viewers will have a direct role in determining who remains in the competition.
With the Battles behind them and Cut Week approaching, the four coaches must prepare for a round that will reduce their teams and bring the remaining artists closer to the title.
The full team lineups heading into Cut Week set the stage for the next major chapter of the competition, where only a select group will earn the chance to perform for America’s vote.
