Atlanta singer Kavi Nyx is moving forward with new music after her elimination from The Voice season 30 sparked backlash from fans who believed she deserved another chance in the competition.
The 18-year-old singer announced on Instagram that her next single, titled Immaturity, will be released on November 2. She also encouraged fans to presave the song through the link in her bio, giving supporters something new to look forward to just days after her departure from the NBC singing competition.

The announcement comes after Kavi lost her Battle Round against 14-year-old Brooklyn Marie during the October 26 episode. The two Team Kelly Clarkson artists performed Sia’s hit Titanium, delivering a performance that left all four coaches impressed by their different vocal styles.
“You’re both the most unique singers on my team,” Kelly told the pair before making her decision. “You have a quality to you that’s unlike anyone else in the competition.”
Kelly ultimately chose Brooklyn to advance, ending Kavi’s run on the show. However, the decision quickly drew criticism from viewers, many of whom questioned why Adam Levine, Riley Green or Queen Latifah did not use a Steal to keep the Atlanta singer in the competition.

“So no one stole one of the most unique voices and singing styles The Voice has had in years? This season would have been so much more intriguing with Kavi,” one fan wrote. Another commented, “Kavi was the clear winner,” while a third added, “Can’t believe Kavi didn’t win this!!!”

Kavi first caught viewers’ attention with her audition of Billie Eilish’s Wildflower, which prompted Kelly and Adam to turn their chairs. Her distinctive sound continued to attract attention throughout the competition, making her elimination particularly disappointing for fans who had hoped to see more of her.
Now, the upcoming single has shifted attention toward what comes next for the young artist. Fans flooded her latest Instagram post with messages of excitement, praising the photos and expressing anticipation for her new music.

“The title alone has me intrigued,” one follower wrote. Another said, “Kavi Nyx, we’re SO ready for this next chapter!” A third fan shared their enthusiasm, writing, “My absolute favorite singer on The Voice.”
With Immaturity arriving on November 2, Kavi is giving her supporters a reason to keep following her musical journey beyond the show. While her time on The Voice has ended, the response to her announcement suggests that many viewers are eager to hear what she does next.
