Hailie Jade, daughter of rap icon Eminem, shared exciting behind-the-scenes details from one unforgettable night at 50 Cent’s concert in Detroit — where her dad made a surprise appearance on stage.
In the latest episode of her “Just a Little Shady” podcast, Hailie gave fans an inside look at what it was like attending the show and witnessing the high-energy moment firsthand.
“I was thriving because I had a little Sunday fun-day,” she said. “We went to 50 Cent’s concert and I was so freaking happy. I haven’t seen him perform since like 6th grade. It’s been so long!”
Hailie couldn’t stop raving about the concert’s energy and production value:
“There’s so many bangers people forget about! It wasn’t just club songs — there were so many tracks where I was like ‘holy s**t!’”
Pyro, Confetti & Epic Production
Hailie was blown away by the stage setup, describing the night as one of the most exciting concert experiences she’s ever had:
“The actual production — I’ve never seen anything like it. Pyro, confetti cannons… There was one song where pyro went off the entire time. I was like, this is sick!”
Eminem’s Surprise Moment
The biggest highlight of the night? Eminem stepping on stage as a surprise guest — and even Hailie was caught off guard.
“When he came out with Ed Sheeran, we knew beforehand. But this time, I found out right before — and even then, I got so hyped! Seeing the crowd’s reaction was incredible.”
A Crowd That Brought the Energy
Hailie also shared a fun moment about a guy sitting in front of her who wasn’t supposed to be in those seats — but danced and enjoyed the show so much that she couldn’t help but cheer him on.
“He was living his best life the whole time. No one came to kick him out, and honestly, he deserved to be right there!”
She wrapped up by saying it was one of the best Sundays she’s had in a long time, adding:
“Pine Knob was the most packed and chaotic I’ve ever seen it. And for a Sunday, I was shocked — no one was relaxed, everyone was lit. It was such a fun night.”
