Kelly Osbourne is still leaning on her dad Ozzy Osbourne for help.
Since the Black Sabbath frontman passed away last summer, his youngest daughter has experienced the “the worst year” of her life. In the midst of grieving, she also found herself splitting from her longtime boyfriend and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson and struggling with weight loss.
“I didn’t know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures,” she recently told The Sun. “When I saw them, I couldn’t f—ing believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else.
“I went to my dad’s grave with a white candle and I wrote a wish on it saying, ‘Please help me,'” she recalled. “The next day, my mom showed up in a black Mercedes with a man in a mustard-colored jacket.”
The man accompanying her mom, Sharon Osbourne, that day turned out to be Chris Miller, a therapist and life coach who Kelly credits for saving and changing her “in so many ways I never thought possible.”
On July 22, 2025, the heavy metal icon passed away after a battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Ozzy’s family shared the news of his passing. Within a statement, they revealed, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
“We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” they added, before his wife and his four children, Kelly, Aimee, Jack and Louis, signed off on the note.
It took a couple days for Kelly to break her silence but she finally did on July 25 with an emotional Instagram story. Against a black background, she wrote, “I feel unhappy I am so sad.” Within a follow-up post, she continued, “I lost the best friend I ever had.”
