The 41-year-old television personality recently relocated with her three-year-old son, Sidney, following an especially difficult period in her life that included the death of her father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, and the end of her relationship with Sidney’s father, Sid Wilson.
Despite spending much of her adult life in Los Angeles, Kelly admitted that she never truly considered herself a California girl.
“Being home in the U.K. has changed a lot for me,” she said in an interview with Hello!. Kelly explained that returning to Britain has allowed her to create a new life where she can see her son genuinely happy.
One of the biggest motivations behind the move was her desire to give Sidney a sense of stability and connection to his family’s British roots. The little boy is now set to attend the same preschool in Buckinghamshire that Kelly attended as a child.
For Kelly, the decision carries an emotional connection of its own. She recalled meeting her best friend on her first day at the school and said that their friendship has lasted ever since. Their children are now also close, giving the move an added sense of familiarity for the Osbourne family.
But nostalgia was not the only reason Kelly wanted to leave Los Angeles.
She also spoke about her concerns over safety in American schools and said she did not want to face a situation where she would have to explain emergency procedures to her young son.
The move comes after what Kelly has described as an exceptionally difficult year. Her father Ozzy died in July 2025 at the age of 76, and Kelly has spoken openly about how profoundly his death affected her.
She has also faced major changes in her personal life following her split from Sid Wilson, with whom she shares Sidney.
Despite everything she has been through, Kelly now appears determined to focus on motherhood and rebuilding her life in Britain.
“I have so many reasons to keep going,” she said, pointing to her son as a major source of happiness and motivation.
As she settles into her new home, Kelly is embracing a quieter chapter away from the Los Angeles lifestyle she knew for so many years.
For the Osbourne daughter, returning to the U.K. is more than simply a change of address. It represents a return to her roots, a fresh start for her family and an opportunity to build a future in a place that feels like home again.
