‘Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back To The Beginning’ Headed to Theaters

Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s 2025 farewell show, Back To The Beginning, is headed to theaters worldwide.

Out via Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios on October 28, the film was directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce (Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, George Michael: The Faith Tour) and the live show shot at Villa Park was directed by Tim Van Someren.

The swan song to metal’s greatest features performances from Osbourne and Black Sabbath alongside Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Pantera, and many more.

“Back To The Beginning came about because I asked Ozzy what would really make him happy,” says Sharon Osbourne. “And he said the only thing that would make him happy was if he could perform again and say goodbye to his fans. That’s all he wanted to do. He wanted to say goodbye and thank you.”

Tickets go on sale Thursday, September 24, at 10 a.m. EST here before the film enters theaters in October.
