Toyah Willcox and Robert Fripp, the fun musical duo famous for their kitchen cover songs, recently showed off their amazing talents at Fairport Convention’s Cropredy festival. They played a powerful version of Led Zeppelin’s famous song “Kashmir” that amazed everyone watching. Even better, Robert Plant, the singer from Led Zeppelin, was there in the crowd watching them!

Their performance included some of Toyah’s own songs like “Thunder In The Mountains,” “It’s A Mystery,” and “I Want To Be Free.” But the real crowd-pleasers were their versions of big hits like Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” and Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” The highlight, though, was their incredible take on “Kashmir,” a classic song from Led Zeppelin’s album “Physical Graffiti.”

Before they started the song, Toyah told the audience, “We’re so proud of this next one. It’s by someone we really love. I won’t say more, but wow, the Midlands has some great musicians!” Then, with a full band helping them, Toyah and Robert played “Kashmir” in a way that felt strong and exciting—way beyond their usual fun Sunday Lunch videos.

When the song ended, Toyah was so happy. She said, “We’re so proud to have Mr. Robert Plant watching us tonight!” The crowd got super excited hearing that. One fan, a YouTuber named ganazby, wrote online, “Robert Plant was standing right behind me by the bar, nodding like he loved it. It was so cool!” His comment made the whole story feel even more special.

This performance was a big moment for Toyah and Robert, showing everyone how talented they really are!
