The Voice Reveals Season 30 Live Show Lineup as Several Fan Favorites Face Uncertain Futures

The Voice introduced a major shake-up in Season 30 with its first-ever Cut Week, forcing all four coaches to make difficult decisions as they narrowed their teams from seven contestants to just three. After a night of emotional performances and tough eliminations, 12 artists secured places in the upcoming Live Shows, while one additional contestant will be chosen through America’s vote.

The new format gave every remaining contestant one final opportunity to impress their coach. Each coach first selected two artists to advance automatically, leaving five others to compete for the team’s final spot.

Host Carson Daly emphasized the stakes, revealing that the competition was entering six weeks of live performances and that more than half of the artists would see their journeys come to an end.

Who Is Advancing to The Voice Season 30 Live Shows?

The 12 artists selected by the coaches are:

  • Team Queen Latifah: Mia Knight, BigCountry, and Lillie Kolich
  • Team Adam Levine: Lexi Stephens, Connor Closs, and Dakota Cohen
  • Team Riley Green: Cade Mower, Ferryn and Brinkley, and Joe Henley
  • Team Kelly Clarkson: Koumba Diallo, Anna McElroy, and Brianna Cameron

One more contestant will join the Top 13 after the results of America’s vote are announced.

Dakota Cohen delivered Fuel’s “Hemorrhage (In My Hands),” earning the final spot. Queen Latifah admitted she was having trouble staying in her seat during the performance, while Levine called Cohen “Baby Miley [Cyrus]” and said he wanted her to carry the torch for female rock singers.

Owen Uffens performed MGMT’s “Electric Feel,” with Levine appreciating his willingness to relax and enjoy the performance.

Amanda Mikkel sang Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” Clarkson praised her talent but suggested that her voice could be even better suited to another song. Levine also encouraged her to overcome her nerves and reveal more of her abilities.

Brandon Diaz took on Switchfoot’s “Dare You To Move.” Latifah described his performance as flawless and said he had given Levine a difficult decision.

Allie Rae, just 15 years old, performed Lainey Wilson’s “4x4xU.” Clarkson told her that she was already far ahead of the game, while Green affectionately called her a “Mini Reba.”

Everett Bounds brought traditional country to the stage with Clint Black’s “Killin’ Time.” Levine joked that Bounds’ voice made him feel as though a huge bar fight was about to break out, while both coaches praised his authenticity.

Kianna Osmond performed The Shirelles’ “Will You Love Me Tomorrow.” Green loved her voice so much that he joked about sending her a list of his favorite songs to sing.

Kayleigh Mathews delivered Patsy Cline’s “Walkin’ After Midnight,” earning praise from Clarkson for her distinctive yodel-like quality. Green particularly appreciated her traditional country sound, describing the performance as “so country.”

However, it was Joe Henley who secured the final position with Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes.” Clarkson was so impressed that she said she would be “mind blown” if he didn’t make the finale.

Green explained that he had already considered Henley a strong contender for the spot after seeing the song assigned to him. Following the performance, he confirmed his decision, telling Henley, “Joe, you crushed it, man.”

The standout of the group was 13-year-old Brianna Cameron, who performed Natalie Cole’s “Inseparable.” Clarkson compared her to a young Whitney Houston, while Green called her “by far the most naturally talented person I’ve seen on the show.” Latifah also praised the performance.
