Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s son, Zuma, is stepping into the spotlight with a country music flair, just like his stepdad, Blake Shelton. The 15-year-old made his big debut at Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and it was a moment to remember.
Zuma took the stage with confidence, wearing a cowboy hat, jeans, and boots, and carrying his guitar. Before he started, Shelton, the famous country singer behind hits like “God’s Country,” introduced him to the excited crowd and even helped adjust his microphone to make sure everything was perfect. In a video shared by fans, you can see Shelton smiling proudly as Zuma performed “Oklahoma Smokeshow” by Zach Bryan, singing and strumming his guitar while sitting on a stool.
People watching couldn’t stop talking about how talented Zuma was. On social media, fans wrote things like “He’s so good!” and called his singing “incredible.” It was a special night, and everyone could feel the energy in the room.
This isn’t the first time one of Stefani’s sons has performed at Ole Red. Last year, Zuma’s older brother, Kingston, who’s now 18, sang there too. He wore a casual T-shirt and jeans and won over the crowd with his own performance. At the end, Kingston thanked everyone, saying, “Love you guys, thank you for being here! It means everything to me.”
Zuma and Kingston have a younger brother, Apollo, who’s 10. Their mom, Gwen Stefani, was the lead singer of the band No Doubt, and their dad, Gavin Rossdale, is the frontman of the rock band Bush. The couple split up in 2015, and Stefani started dating Shelton that same year. She and Shelton got married in 2021, and he’s been a big part of her sons’ lives ever since.
Shelton has said he loves being a stepdad and teaching the boys about country life, from music to spending time on his Oklahoma ranch. Earlier this year, he told a reporter that helping raise Stefani’s sons gives him a special kind of happiness. Meanwhile, Rossdale jokingly said Zuma’s love for country music surprised him, but he supports his son no matter what kind of music he chooses.
Zuma’s performance was a big hit, and it sounds like he’s just getting started!
