Watch Tim McGraw Perform “Don’t Close Your Eyes” With Keith Whitley’s Guitar at Country Music Hall of Fame

The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville held a special online fundraiser on YouTube on October 28. They called it “Big Night (At the Museum).” Lots of famous country music singers and musicians joined in to make it a fun night of music. Some of the stars were Alison Brown, Kane Brown, Carlene Carter, Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Keb Mo, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stuart, and The War and Treaty.

One exciting moment was when Tim McGraw played a guitar that once belonged to another singer named Keith Whitley. The guitar was made by someone called C.W. Parsons. Tim sang a song called “Don’t Close Your Eyes” that Keith Whitley used to sing.

The concert was free to watch on YouTube, and people could donate money to the Museum while watching. So far, they’ve raised over $500,000 to help the Museum keep doing its work.

You can watch Tim McGraw’s performance online. The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum shared a photo from the event too!
