Great news for fans comes without a long wait. Il Volo will return to Bratislava on October 22, 2027, once again performing at the Tipos Arena. Ticket sales will begin on December 4 at exactly 11:11 a.m.
The Slovak capital experienced an extraordinary musical evening on Tuesday night (December 2). The world-famous Italian trio Il Volo performed in a packed Tipos Arena alongside the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague and special guest artists. From the very first notes, it was clear that this was a remarkable concert, a fact confirmed by the audience’s repeated ovations throughout the evening, according to PR manager Andrea Sulovská.
The program featured the trio’s most famous hits, well-loved and eagerly anticipated by fans. Legendary songs such as O Sole Mio, Nessun Dorma, the emotional Hallelujah, My Way, and the grandiose Grande Amore—which resonated throughout the arena—were performed. As a surprise for the audience near the finale, the Christmas classic Oh Holy Night was performed, briefly bringing the concert into a festive, peaceful mood.
A significant part of the evening’s impact came from the symphonic accompaniment. The combination of Il Volo’s voices with the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague added a new dimension to the songs, creating greater space, dynamics, and emotional power. The orchestral arrangements were among the elements that distinguished this evening from standard concert productions.
Special guests also contributed memorable moments. Swiss cellist Jodok Cello performed an approximately 20-minute solo before the main program, setting a wonderful atmosphere that prepared the audience for the rest of the evening. Italian singer Cecille added elegance, lyricism, and natural emotion to the program.
Throughout the concert, the members of Il Volo repeatedly spoke to the audience, interacting with fans and creating a personal connection that gave the event a more intimate feel despite the size of the venue. During the evening, they received several gifts directly on stage, which they unwrapped with smiles, and the event concluded with the symbolic handing out of roses to fans in the front rows.
“The audience reacted exactly as such a concert deserves—attentively, respectfully, and with immense enthusiasm. The combination of Il Volo, the orchestra, and the guests worked perfectly, resulting in an exceptionally high-quality musical evening. We are already intensively preparing for their return in 2027,” said the concert organizer Rudolf Heger.
“It was an amazing show. We always feel great in Bratislava and look forward to coming back soon,” added trio member Gianluca Ginoble.
