Kelly Clarkson’s Tearful Surprise: Husband Brandon Blackstock Joins Her Onstage for Unforgettable ‘Piece by Piece’ Moment

Kelly Clarkson got a big surprise on the last night of her Meaning of Life Tour in Greenville, South Carolina. She was singing her song “Piece by Piece” with just one guitar player helping her. Then, out of nowhere, her husband, Brandon Blackstock, walked onto the stage holding his own guitar. He quietly took the place of the other guitarist while Kelly kept singing.

The crowd noticed Brandon and started cheering loudly. When Kelly turned around and saw him, she was so shocked and happy that she started to cry. She tried to keep singing but had to stop for a moment. Laughing, she told the audience, “This is my husband!” The fans clapped and shouted even more. Kelly finished the song, though she got emotional a few times, and gave Brandon a big hug at the end.

“Piece by Piece” is a special song from Kelly’s 2015 album. It’s about how her dad left her family when she was little, and how Brandon is a much better husband and dad to their two kids. People love hearing it at her concerts because it’s so touching. Kelly and Brandon have been married since 2013. Brandon’s dad is Narvel Blackstock, which makes him the stepson of singer Reba McEntire, even though Reba and Narvel aren’t married anymore. That makes Kelly Reba’s daughter-in-law.
