Joe Henley may be one of the favorites to win Season 30 of The Voice, and his fellow contestants are having some fun with that idea.
In a new social media video, Joe appears to rehearse for next week’s episode by pretending to sing into a water bottle. The clip then quickly cuts to Team Queen Latifah’s Lillie Kolich and Team Kelly’s Anna McElroy packing their bags, leaving their hotel, and jokingly heading home after hearing him sing.
“Us after hearing Joe Henley rehearse his next song on The Voice,” Lillie wrote over the video, which Anna also shared. The spooky music only makes the joke more dramatic.
Of course, the video is all in good fun. Joe has become one of the season’s most popular contestants with viewers and coaches, but his final result will not be known until the Season 30 finale on December 14.
Joe also had a major moment during the first-ever Cut Week. His performance of Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes” earned a standing ovation from all four coaches, helping him advance as the competition became much tougher.
The 19-year-old Alabama singer joined Team Riley Green after performing Travis Tritt’s “Anymore” during the Blind Auditions. He has also named George Strait and Don Williams among his country music influences.
Kelly Clarkson previously said she would be “mind-blown” if Joe did not make it to the finale, adding to his growing status as a fan favorite.

Fans quickly joined in on the joke, with some admitting they would also “be going home” after hearing Joe perform.

Others celebrated Lillie and Anna for making it to the Live Shows, while one fan wrote, “And the fact yall made it to lives 😭♥️”
Some viewers also made it clear that they still had their favorites. “LILLIE, JOE, LEXI – top 3 ❤️🔥,” one person commented, while another admitted, “Love you to death but joe has my vote.”
Another fan compared the moment to Kelly’s reaction during Cut Week, writing, “Just like Kelly, when he opened his mouth at cut round. ‘Oh My God’ she knew she lost. 😂”
